For World Health Day, Omron Healthcare Singapore released a chatbot on Facebook Messenger. The chatbot is an extension of Omron Healthcare’s services. When the chatbot first got launched, it held a quiz, where users had the chance to win products from Omron Healthcare. The chatbot came with a host of other features which are aimed to make life convenient for its users. How will the chatbot perform when we test its features?
As Omron Healthcare Singapore used Facebook Messenger as the platform for its chatbot, you need to activate it. All you have to do is select “Get Started” at the bottom of the screen, for the chatbot to come to life. It will give you a brief introduction about itself and inform you of the quiz that Omron is holding at the moment. According to the chatbot, Omron has for sets of prizes to give away. To win the prizes, you need to answer three questions that the chatbot will ask.
The questions are relatively easy to answer as the chatbot gives hints all the time. Also, if you make a mistake, the chatbot will ask you to answer again, so that you get the correct answer. At the end of the quiz, the chatbot will ask you to enter your email id so that it can inform you if you win prizes from Omron.
To access the primary features of this chatbot, you need to type “Main Menu.” The chatbot will ask you to pick from the following categories:
- Shop Product
- Health Tips
- Health Tracker
When you select “Shop Product,” the chatbot will inform you that it will only show you a limited number of products. If you want to take a look at their entire range of products, the chatbot provides a link to the official website. If you choose “Get recommendations,” the chatbot will ask you to pick from the following categories:

Based on your answers, the chatbot will suggest products that match your requirements. If you want to take a closer look at any of the products, you just have to select “view.” The chatbot will redirect you to the official page, where you get additional details about the product. If you want to know where you can pick up a certain product, there is a “where to buy” option below the image of the product. Also, you can share the product with your friends on Facebook Messenger. The chatbot suggests online stores where you can purchase the product. If you don’t know which product will suit you, the chatbot has an option called “BPM Selector.” The chatbot will ask a series of questions to help you pick the best product for all your needs.
